How to send money to Europe 🇪🇺

You can send payments to Europe using Grey. Once your account is funded, you can easily complete your withdrawal.

If your funds are in another supported currency, they will be automatically converted to EUR during the transfer. You can also choose to fund your EUR balance directly or, if preferred, swap from another currency beforehand.

We only support sending payments to countries within the EEA (European Economic Area) via SEPA transfers. Here's a list of countries in the EEA region.


Below is a step-by-step guide on sending EUR to a bank account within Europe.

On the website

  • Log in to your account.

  • Tap on "Send" on your homepage

  • Click on send via bank transfer

  • Select your saved beneficiary or Click on "Send" to a New recipient if you are sending to a new recipient account.

  • Search for the country you want to send to or search with the currency "EUR", the supported countries for EUR transfers will be shown to you.

  • Select destination country and input the recipient account information.

  • Review the recipient details. Make sure all details are correct. Click "Continue"

  • Complete withdrawals using your 2FA code/PIN.


On the mobile app

  • Log in to your Grey account.

  • From your home screen, select Send.

  • You can choose a saved beneficiary or a recent recipient. If you want to send to a new recipient, select "More"

  • Search the currency you want to send, EUR

  • Tap on the Blue button "Add EUR recipient"

  • Select "send via bank transfer"

  • Select the Recipient Country

  • Fill in the recipient account details. Please ensure the details are correct

  • Review the recipient details. Make sure all details are correct. Click "Continue"

  • Toggle on the button below to save the beneficiary account or not

  • Complete withdrawals using your 2FA code/PIN.


  • You can either send EUR to a recent or new recipient.

  • If you choose to send to a new recipient, you must fill out specific details like the recipient's country, recipient type, IBAN, first and last name, and a description (optional).

  • Once you have inputted the details, you need to validate the recipient. After validating the recipient, you can input your 2FA code and complete your transaction.

  • We do not support sending payments to Switzerland.

  • EUR transactions usually take 1-2 working days, excluding weekends and public holidays.
