The Master virtual card is a virtual payment card you can top up from your Grey USD wallet. It allows you to make online and card payments on US card-supported platforms once it's sufficiently funded.
What can I pay using the Grey MasterCard?

Can I use my Grey Mastercard with Apple Pay or Google Pay?
No. Your Grey MasterCard currently does not support Apple Pay and Google Pay. However, it supports online and in-app payments.
How much does it cost to create a Grey MasterCard?
Creating a Grey MasterCard costs $4. This is a one-time card creation fee and is charged at the point of creation.
What are the requirements?
To create a US virtual card, you'll be required to have completed your KYC verification.
Can I fund my US MasterCard with any currency?
You can fund your US virtual Mastercard using only your USD balance. You can convert from your other wallet balance to your US wallet and fund your card from your US wallet.
How does currency conversion work when I make a payment?
Conversion is not charged for payments made with your US MasterCard. The payments are charged in USD. However, a cross-border fee applies to payments made on non-US apps/websites using your Grey USD card. You can learn more about this here.
Is there a maintenance fee?
No, there is no maintenance fee. However, you may be charged a cross-border fee (up to 2% + $0.50) when using your card on non-US websites. This fee is charged by the merchant or card processor, not Grey.
Do I need a US bank account to get a card?
No. To create a virtual card, you can simply top up your wallet. You can also convert funds from your other wallet balance to your US wallet and use them to fund your card.
Can I withdraw from the Master Virtual Card?
Yes, you can withdraw from your US Mastercard to your Grey US wallet.
Does the MasterCard have a PIN?
No.
What happens if my card goes into a negative balance?
If your card balance goes into a negative state and reaches $50, the card will be automatically terminated. To avoid this, please ensure you have sufficient funds in your linked wallet before making payments.
Why can’t I create a MasterCard?
Visa cards may not be available in your jurisdiction. You can learn more about the unsupported jurisdictions here.
What happens to my card balance once I delete my card?
Once your card is deleted, the balance on the card is returned to your Grey USD balance.
What happens when I receive a refund?
Refunds are received within 7-21 business days and credited to your card balance. It's credited to your USD balance if your card has been deleted before the refund is received. You can learn more about card refunds here.
Please note that you cannot receive payments using the virtual card.
Kindly ensure that your card is sufficiently funded before attempting any transactions with your Mastercard, especially for recurring subscriptions. This will help prevent a fraud alert with our providers and avoid the risk of your card being deleted.
