What is Pouch?
Pouch is a way to organise money on Grey, a dedicated space within your account for specific goals. You can create one or several, name them after your goals, and grow them through round-ups or by adding money directly.
Which currencies can I keep?
USD, GBP or EUR. You can hold in any of them without converting first.
What are round-ups?
Roundups sweep the spare change from your Grey card purchases into your pouch. A $47.20 purchase rounds up $0.80. The minimum transaction is $1.
Do I need a new app or account to use Pouch?
No. Pouch works within your existing Grey account. There’s nothing new to download or set up.
Is there a minimum to create a Pouch?
$10, €10, or £10 to create and fund. After that, top-ups start from $0.01.
Can I have more than one Pouch?
Yes. Create as many as you need, each with its own name and currency.
Can I take money out of a Pouch whenever I want?
Yes, you can. Withdrawals go back to your Grey balance in the same currency. No lock-in, no penalties.
Does Pouch pay interest?
Not at this time. Pouch currently helps you organise and hold funds in the currency you choose.
How is Grey Pouch different from a savings account?
Grey Pouch is a sub-wallet inside your Grey account. It is not a bank savings account. It lets you split your balance into named goals without moving money out of Grey.
