Every cryptocurrency transaction, whether you're sending from your Grey account or receiving deposits to your Grey account , is permanently and securely logged on the blockchain. Knowing how to view your transaction on the blockchain is an essential skill that provides several benefits:

  • Verify Status: You can check if your transaction has been confirmed and see how many network confirmations it has, letting you know if it's still being processed.

  • Confirm Transfers: It serves as the ultimate proof that a transfer was successfully sent or received, allowing you to verify claims by yourself.

  • Support: If you experience any delays or issues, the transaction ID (hash) is the key piece of information our support team needs to assist you.

How to use your Transaction ID

  1. Find your TxID (Transaction hash):

    • For deposits (receiving crypto): Get the TxID (Transaction hash) from the sender (exchange or individual) who initiated the transfer to your Grey wallet.

    • For withdrawals (sending crypto): Find the TxID (Transaction Hash) in your wallet's transaction history on Grey, or contact support to get it.

  2. Select the Correct Explorer: Every cryptocurrency operates on its own blockchain (or a shared one), so you must use the correct explorer. For example, use Blockchain.com for a Bitcoin transaction.

  3. Search: Copy and paste your TxID into the search bar of the chosen blockchain explorer.

  4. Review Details: The explorer will display all transaction details, including its status (confirmed or pending), the amount, and the associated addresses.

--If you cannot find the transaction after searching with the TxID (Transaction hash) it means the transaction was not successfully sent to your wallet.
