The Sell Crypto feature allows you to convert your cryptocurrency holdings (such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, or USDC) into fiat currency, which is then deposited directly into your Grey wallet.
Follow these simple steps to convert your crypto to fiat:
Step 1: Choose which cryptocurrency to sell
Open your Grey app and go to the Grow tab. Tap the More button, then select Sell from the options.
Select the cryptocurrency you want to sell. For example, you might choose to sell Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), or USDC.
Enter the amount of cryptocurrency you want to sell. You can specify the exact amount in crypto (e.g., 0.01 BTC).
Step 2: Select the wallet to be credited
Choose which fiat wallet you'd like to receive the funds in. We support multiple currencies, including:
USD (US Dollar)
EUR (Euro)
GBP (British Pound)
The cryptocurrency will be converted at the current market rate, and the fiat equivalent will be deposited into your selected wallet.
Step 3: Review the transaction summary
Before confirming, We will display a detailed transaction summary showing:
Crypto amount being sold (e.g., 0.01 BTC)
Current exchange rate (e.g., 1 BTC = $40,000)
Fiat amount to be received before fees (e.g., $400)
Transaction fees (calculated in real time)
Final amount you'll receive after fees.
This breakdown ensures you know exactly how much you're selling, what the fees are, and how much will be credited to your wallet.
Step 4: Confirm and authorise the transaction
Once you've reviewed the details, you will need to authorise the transaction using your transaction PIN, Two-factor authentication (2FA), or Face ID/Fingerprint.
Step 5: Transaction is completed
After you authorise the transaction, we will complete the crypto-to-fiat conversion immediately. The fiat funds will be credited to your selected wallet, typically within seconds to a few minutes.
You'll receive a confirmation notification once the transaction is complete, and you can view the details in your transaction history.
We are transparent about all fees. You'll always see the exact amount being charged before you authorise the transaction.
