You can now send money to Ethiopia using bank transfers or mobile money transfer from your Grey app. To send money to Ethiopia and withdraw in ETB, please follow these steps:
Log in to your Grey account.
On your account dashboard, click "Send Money."
Select "Send via bank transfer"
Click on "Send to a new recipient."
Select "Destination country".
Search "Ethiopia" and choose"Ethiopian Birr" as the payout currency.
Input your recipient's details.
Put in your PIN code and complete your withdrawal.
Transfers to Ethiopia can be processed using your USD, GBP, and EUR balances.
The transfer fee for ETB Bank Transfers/Mobile money is $2 per transaction.
You can transfer a minimum of 100 ETB per transaction and a maximum of 150,000 ETB per transaction.
ETB Bank transfers are completed within the next business day, Monday to Friday, while ETB mobile money transfers are completed in real-time and are almost instant.
